David Infante
1982, France.
David Infante is a PhD student at the University of Lisbon, (Fine Arts), and Master in Contemporary Photography at the Royal College of Arts, 2017. He received the BES Revelation award in 2008 by Banco Espírito Santo / Serralves Museum. In 2007 he also received the Pedro Miguel Frade prize, awarded by the Portuguese Center of Photography. In 2014 he is selected for PHotoESPAÑA, Descubrimentos. He has shown his work in several galleries and museums. His most recent shows were at the La Ira de Dios Gallery, Buenos Aires (AR), Royal College of Arts, wip show, London (UK), Modulo gallery, Lisbon (PT) and Villa Tamaris Centre D’Art, Toulon (France). His work has been referenced in several publications and is also represented in some private and international collections, such as the National Photography Collection / Centro Português de Fotografia, the PLMJ foundation collection and the Novo Banco collection. Currently teaches at the University of Évora.
